Happily married for over 37 years, my husband and I are both natives of North Carolina, and are avid Duke Blue Devils fans. We have four adult children, three of whom are married, and five precious grands! With more than 30 years in ministry across several southeastern states and Wyoming, we have spent more of those years in middle Tennessee than not, finally settling in historic Columbia with our Bearded Dragon, Beans.

Some of my favorite things besides being Mimi are outside walks, a good book, coffee chats, and hanging out with my husband and family (and, of course, watching Duke basketball!).

In addition to my work as a therapist, I am an accomplished pianist, a dedicated piano instructor, and a three-time cancer survivor. Balancing demanding roles as a ministry wife, mom, Mimi, therapist, piano teacher, and parent-caregiver has been both my greatest challenge and my greatest joy. My passion is to come alongside those who are hurting and help them navigate life and find healing and emotional health.
